Saule Dyussenbina


 

Born in Karaganda, Saule Dyussenbina lives and works in Almaty. She is the 2002 second prize winner of the "Shabyt" festival, Astana. She has taught at the T. Zhurgenov National Academy of Art and at the Alma-Ata Art College in Almaty. Recent exhibitions include: 2021, "Harvest Time" at ToBE gallery (Switzerland, Bern); 2017, "Wall-paper Kazakh Funny Games" at Esentai Gallery, Almaty; 2014, "Ou" at Esentai Gallery, Almaty; 2011,"Map of Memory"at Art Center Alma-Ata, Almaty.  Her works are in the following collections: State Museum of Arts, Almaty; Kazakhstan Collection of American University of Central Asia, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; USA Eurasian Cultural Alliance Collection, Kazakhstan and the US; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA, USА; and in private collections.
